Explore Your Universe

Primary 6 and 7 were fortunate enough to visit the Science Centre this week to participate in a workshop called "Explore Your Universe". We visited the Planetarium where we learned loads about our Solar System and beyond. It was amazing to see the night sky and all the star constellations as well as some of the planets up close like they would be in space!

We also had the opportunity to experiment with all the different attractions in the Science Mall. The Science Centre staff were on hand to help us build circuits and even make our own bouncy balls!

Here we are in action!

Primary 7 Term 1

Primary 7 have had a wonderful start to their final year at Kirklandneuk. It has been an incredibly busy time settling into our new routines, roles and responsibilities as well as performing the first class assembly of the year.

One of our highlights so far has been helping our buddies settle into Primary 1. Our Primary 7 buddies have taken fantastic care of their new infant buddies to help them make friends and get to know the school. We took them on a tour of the school to help familiarise them with their new surroundings and have been able to spend some golden time playing and reading with them too.

Here we are with our new buddies!
