Scottish Book Week

Last week we all celebrated Scottish Book Week. We had an incredibly fun-filled, busy week; between taking part in trips to Waterstones and the local library, dressing up as our favourite characters and designing book covers for our favourite books AND our own imaginary stories.
Here are some pictures of us on our Book Week adventures!

Pascal's Visits and Making Healthy Choices

This term our topic is all about Making Healthy Choices - including choices we make about food, exercise and our mindset. We are learning about the importance of eating  a balanced diet and the benefits each of the food groups provide when we eat them. We are also learning about the nutritional value of certain foods and what can sometimes 'appear' good for us but turn out to be quite the opposite!

Through exploring these important factors of our lifestyle, Pascal has been back to visit and help us create some delicious food including fruit kebabs, crepes and homemade burgers!

Happy Heroes Week

Recently, the whole school celebrated Happy Heroes Week. We all took part in activities to promote Anti-Bullying and our Happy Heroes and Rights Respecting Reps all did a fantastic job of delivering lessons and activities to different classes.

The P7 Happy Heroes and Rights Respecting Reps led an activity along with Primary 1 where we were all able to make Buddy keyrings with our Buddies. The P1 buddies got to keep their keyring and they can now be seen looking fabulous on all sorts of bags and jackets!

Paisley 2021 Pace Production

PACE came to visit Primary 7 to put on a production based around the bid for Paisley to be City of Culture 2021. Primary 7 worked incredibly hard to learn songs and words to put on a whole production in a very small amount of time, and the outcome was fabulous. Primary 4-6 were able to come and see us perform the final show. The acting, singing and performing was wonderful and we learned lots about Paisley and Renfrewshire's history and heritage.
