Yes, Chef!

Primary 7 have been having a fantastic time learning some new cooking skills with Pascal, Head Chef from the Glynhill.

Last week, we learned how to make delicious pork and salmon stir fry and all helped to peel, chop and cook the dish (but the best part was getting to try it at the end!!) Sophie C and Scott were selected by Pascal as his 'sous chef' and did a fantastic job!

Here we are in action - cooking up a storm!

Pascal taught us all about the different foods he had brought and let us try the ingredients before they went in to the stir fry.

We had to peel and chop all sorts of vegetables including carrots, shallots, aubergine, mushrooms and peppers!

Lee did a fabulous job of tossing all the ingredients in the pan (without spilling any on the floor!)

Here are our "sous chef" in action - Scott is adding sweet chilli sauce to create a fantastic flavour in our stir fry!

The result! Lots of happy faces (and tummies!)

Bon appetite!

Primary 7A - Term 1

Primary 7A have had a super busy start to our last year at Kirklandneuk Primary.

We are thoroughly enjoying all the new roles and responsibilities that we have in Primary 7, including being Playmakers, Peer Mediators, Wet Weather Monitors and the Dinner Hall DJ's!

We have especially enjoyed being Buddies for the new Primary 1 children and have done lots to help them settle into their new school.

Here are some photos of us taking our new buddies on a tour around the school!
