Paisley 2021 Pace Production

PACE came to visit Primary 7 to put on a production based around the bid for Paisley to be City of Culture 2021. Primary 7 worked incredibly hard to learn songs and words to put on a whole production in a very small amount of time, and the outcome was fabulous. Primary 4-6 were able to come and see us perform the final show. The acting, singing and performing was wonderful and we learned lots about Paisley and Renfrewshire's history and heritage.

Halloween

P7A had a super spooky week of Halloween activities. We wrote some FANTASTIC spooky stories that built up suspense, designed our own Day of the Dead candy skulls and had a wonderful visit from the YMCA to do loads of fun activities when we were dressed up on our Come As You Please day.

We also showed off our selfie-skills and took some funny Halloween snaps!

Here we all are looking fabulous!

Bollywood Bonanza!

Primary 7 have loved our Indian topic throughout Term 1 and we have learned a huge amount about the different lifestyles and cultures of Indian people.

One of the highlights of our topic was learning a bit of Bollywood dance with the help of Rachel and Emma from Street Stuff, who taught us a fantastic routine.

Here is the video of us in action!

Yes, Chef!

Primary 7 have been having a fantastic time learning some new cooking skills with Pascal, Head Chef from the Glynhill.

Last week, we learned how to make delicious pork and salmon stir fry and all helped to peel, chop and cook the dish (but the best part was getting to try it at the end!!) Sophie C and Scott were selected by Pascal as his 'sous chef' and did a fantastic job!

Here we are in action - cooking up a storm!

Pascal taught us all about the different foods he had brought and let us try the ingredients before they went in to the stir fry.

We had to peel and chop all sorts of vegetables including carrots, shallots, aubergine, mushrooms and peppers!

Lee did a fabulous job of tossing all the ingredients in the pan (without spilling any on the floor!)

Here are our "sous chef" in action - Scott is adding sweet chilli sauce to create a fantastic flavour in our stir fry!

The result! Lots of happy faces (and tummies!)

Bon appetite!
